The COVID-19 pandemic remains at the forefront of our minds, and we know that taking care of your children is of utmost importance. Here's how we're keeping everyone as safe as possible at Heights Cooperative Preschool.
Please familiarize yourself with our School Illness Policy and ensure that any students with symptoms of Covid-19 are kept home until symptom free for 24 hours.
Daily and Weekly Sanitizing
We sanitize and disinfect our classroom spaces and high-touch surfaces daily. A parent volunteer for each class takes home all classroom laundry to wash and sanitize weekly.
Hand Washing
We practice regular hand washing during our school day in all classrooms, before and after snacks and meals, during bathroom breaks, and especially after sneezes or coughs.
Vaccinations Recommended
All of the Heights Cooperative Preschool staff is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per CDC recommendations. We recommend vaccination for all students.
Masks Optional
Masks can help contain germs, but we understand the frustration and struggle of keeping masks on little faces all day long. We do not mandate masks at Heights at this time.
Reduced Guests
We are limiting parent volunteers and outside guests as much as possible to keep potential exposure down.
If you have questions or concerns about our COVID-19 protocols, please speak with your child's teacher or contact us.
