Get to know our learning spaces where your child can explore educational play!
Why Spaces?Delineating specific spaces in our rooms helps us guide learning and help our students practice decision making skills. Some spaces are big enough for lots of friends, but others only have room for one or two children, so they can learn to practice sharing, asking for a turn, and more.

Teacher's Eye ViewIt’s important that we’re able to see all of our spaces in the classroom, so we separate spaces with sheer curtains.

Circle TimeOne of the most prominent spaces in our classrooms is the Circle Time area, where the whole class can gather for songs, stories, and other activities for everyone to share.

|
Cozy CornerIn the Cozy Corner, there's room for a few friends to share space for quiet time for themselves. Here, our students can practice emotional awareness, read, and play with soft toys.

Dramatic Play
Our dramatic play spaces allow children to act out real-world scenarios they have seen modeled by the adults in their lives. We make lots of yummy imaginary food in our play kitchens!

Blocks and Loose Parts
|
These areas allow our students to imagine and create without limits! They can develop their own games, puzzles, and stories to teach other students and practice learning and solving problems within these new scenarios.

SensoryA sensory table or sensory jars allow students to experience different sensations, textures, materials, and more! This can be very soothing and regulating.

Arts and CraftsWith a designated space for arts and crafts, students can let their creativity shine!
