We believe that children are inherent learners, and that playing is learning!
Early childhood is a time when children are absorbing and integrating all kinds of new information about the world around them. We’re here to inspire a lifelong love of learning by focusing on play-based learning andEmergent Curriculum, which weave education throughout your child’s interests rather than organizing learning into discrete, scheduled blocks of time.
Social Learning
Children learn to respect one another by practicing and modeling communication and social interaction. Our classrooms are designed with a mix of individual, small group, and large group spaces to encourage students to practice sharing space with other children.
“Children in my classroom learn that they are important, and that other people are important.” - Taryn Kaplan, Director
Interaction with Nature
We get outside every day we can, and our classrooms include plants and even pets. Sushi and Kiwi are guinea pigs who live in our Pre-K class! Our school grounds include a beautiful outdoor play area for the students to get fresh air and big body movement each day.
